How Not to Fund a Honeymoon

by Stephanie Greenwood

Performances:

The problem: Gwen and Charlie are strapped for cash. Their wedding is coming up and they have no way to pay for the honeymoon of their dreams. Not in this economy. The solution: Break into Aunt Robyn’s house and steal the mysterious treasure that she is always bragging about but no one has ever seen. This is how Charlie and Gwen find themselves outside Aunt Robyn’s house holding a rock, wondering if they should throw it through her window and really hoping that she is definitely on holiday.

Previously performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, 2025,

to glowing reviews:

“A delightfully farcical yet loveable take on a classic break-in story” - BingeFringe

“A silly madcap comedy of errors-come-crime caper...An effective calling card for all

involved” - TheScotsman

“Smart, brisk, and absurdly compelling” - EdFest Reviews

“Quite clever, actually” - Sinners Reviews

“HNtFaH” is being produced by North Street alum (and Onancock native) Josh Dooley and is presented at the Playhouse as part of the

ongoing new play development process. Both performances will be followed by talk-backs with the playwright and cast

Tickets: Admission by Donation

PLEASE NOTE: These performances will begin at 6:00pm.
