The zoo Story

by Edward Albee

Friday, March 31, 2017 at 8:00pm

Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 8:00pm

Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:30pm

From the mind of the late Edward Albee comes The Zoo Story, a fierce and electric collision between two different worlds. Peter, a well-kept publisher and family man sits reading on his favorite park bench, as he does any typical Sunday afternoon. This ritual is broken by Jerry, a socially depraved man with a burning desire to share a connection with someone. That someone is Peter, and their interaction personifies the humor, and the horror of humanity.

Return of the divas

Returning... 2017

Over the years the Playhouse has produced several small, female focused musicals. I n the course of those productions, we’ve been privileged to share the talents of many of the best ‘girl singers’ on the Shore and beyond. Two years ago, six of them came together with the late Burley Strand and his band for a night of music that couldn’t be beat. Reprising some of their North Street hits along with a few of their own favorites, it was definitely a night worth repeating.  Come join the Diva’s and the NSP House Band for an evening guaranteed to warm your heart and soul, and set your toes to tapping!
